Daventry’s local printing.com branch, Image IT, has taken the top place in the printer’s August sales promotion. Every month, the company’s head office launches a different offer across its 300 branches. During August, the nationwide promotion was on a range of recycled products, including letterheads, business cards, notepads and leaflets.
According to Mark Mundin of Image IT, “thanks to Daventry’s business community, we had an astonishing month. Our sales were over 30% higher on these products than the second placed franchise. It’s particularly gratifying as August is usually a quiet month.”
Recycled paper helps divert waste paper away from landfill sites and its manufacture is less damaging to the environment than producing paper from scratch. In fact, studies show that the production of recycled paper saves a massive 50% of the energy used in traditional paper manufacture.
Mark believes that businesses in Daventry do take green issues very seriously. “It’s a range that’s always extremely popular. Our eco-friendly products look and feel anything but recycled. Gone are the days of letterheads that resemble woodchip wallpaper – now you can help save the planet without compromising on your image.”
