Image IT is supporting local talent Jacob Stilp in his bid to win the 2010 UK National Kart Championships. At just fourteen years old, Jacob is already a seasoned racer, having received many notable accolades in the five years he has been competing at national and international levels.
This season alone, Jacob has already had two wins, plus a third and fourth place. And whilst the karting Championships are the immediate goal, his long term target is Formula 1. Many believe he has the talent to reach that target, with his name being held up as one of two young future stars to watch.
The costs of running a full competitive season are onerous, with entry fees, tyres and engines eating away at the budget. Image IT is offering both financial and graphic design/print support to help ease some of the costs as well as helping Jacob raise awareness for sponsorship support to others.
Mark Mundin, Manager at Image IT explains why. "There are many synergies between Jacob's performance on the track and Image IT's performance for our customers. We are both in competitive environments. To succeed, we both need to demonstrate key attributes such as precision, accuracy, passion and commitment. And of course, speed is vital to keep ahead of the game."
"Financial pressures often mean it's very hard for young talent to succeed and we are delighted to be able to offer some support to such a dedicated young man who reflects the same ethos as our company."
